We know and believe that Marriage is a very sacred and holy way to live life. Using the many graces that have been given to those who are married and those preparing for marriage is a sacred gift and a daily challenge. Life requires much of us all, but the Lord has promised much to us who call upon the Lord.

Reach out to your partner today – tell them how much you love them – share a special moment of recognition of their many gifts and talents – express sorrow if you have hurt them in any way, and offer this prayer for them:

Almighty and Eternal God, You blessed the union of married couples and those preparing for marriage so that they might reflect the union of Christ and Christ’s Church: look with kindness on them. Renew their sacred covenant, increase your love in them, and strengthen their bond of peace so that, with their children, they may always rejoice in the gift of your blessing. Bless those preparing for marriage and draw them closer and closer to the graces of the great Sacrament of your Love. Heal wounds, lift up those in pain, and help couples never to take each other for granted. We pray this in the Creator’s love-filled embrace. Amen!
